Charity Golf Event
Five years ago, we embarked on a mission with a singular purpose: to give back to the military and first
responder heroes in our community who have sacrificed so much for our freedom. Folds of Honor was
founded in 2007 by Lt. Col. Dan Rooney, with the goal of providing educational scholarships to the
spouses and children of our fallen and disabled American heroes. Since its inception, the organization has
awarded over 60,000 scholarships and has proudly returned over 90% of the donations raised directly to
this cause.
Locally, we’ve followed in their footsteps, raising nearly one million dollars and awarding over 200
scholarships in the Northeast Florida area. Additionally, our local staff and executive board dedicate
countless hours to this cause, all without compensation. We’ve seen over 90% community engagement in
our region, reflecting the deep support for our mission.
Our signature events include a premier charity golf tournament, a gala, and other fundraising activities
throughout the year. We rely entirely on donations from businesses and individuals who share our belief
that “Freedom is not Free.” You are receiving this letter because you represent some of the most
successful companies in Jacksonville and the Southeast, and we are asking for your support to help us
reach our 2025 goal of raising over $200,000 and providing 40 additional scholarships to deserving
recipients.
Please note that 100% of your donations stay right here in Northeast Florida, directly benefiting local
families by providing educational opportunities that might otherwise be out of reach.
This year’s premier event will be held at the World Golf Village on June 12-13. It will feature a cocktail
reception, dinner, entertainment, and both live and silent auctions with incredible items such as FOH
engraved firearms, golf and leisure trips, golf carts, and exclusive memorabilia. You won’t want to miss
this unforgettable evening!

When your foursome has arrived please come to the registration table for check
in. You may also purchase your mulligans at this time. ($25 each or 5 for$100)
You will then be assigned to your carts and your clubs will be put on
accordingly.
